Partnering with Chipper dog productions
to bring more women into positions of power in film

Initiating the change we want to see.

Though women make up 51% of the movie-going audience, of the top 100 grossing films of 2018, only 4% were directed by women, 14% were written by women, and 3% had women cinematographers. In its history, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has awarded a single Oscar to a woman for best director and has never awarded the honor to a woman for cinematography (the first and only woman was nominated for 2018's Mudbound).

To help change this, we've funded a portion of Chipper Dog Productions' short film Perchance to Dream directed by storyteller / writer / actor Megan Hayes. Specifically, we've earmarked our investment in the area of cinematography which will be helmed by the phenomenal DoP Kelly Urban.

Perchance to Dream has been greenlighted by Seed & Spark for production in July.
